Contact Lenses With Circuits, Lights A Possible Platform For Superhuman Vision

Ever had desires to have your own heads up display (HUD), matching the capabilities of a Terminator? Probably not, but I can totally see all kinds of applications for this in both work and play as the technology develops and matures.
A surgeon could have their current patient’s vitals just off their periphery. I can envision GPS companies pairing up their devices to something like this for a HUD. A semi transparent overlay could be displayed over your field of vision, showing you when and where to turn. Picture that you’re riding your bike in a paceline and have all the vitals that the Garmin Edge 305 displays (heart rate, cadence, speed, elevation, averages, etc.) in a heads up display, never taking your eyes off the road.
