EVH Fender Replica – $50,000!

Holy crap, that’s a ton of money for $500 worth of parts. It’s one help of a replica though – complete with ’71 quarter, cigarette burns, etc. But, anyone who buys this is putting it in a display case somewhere. I would never expect to see someone playing one of these onstage or even in your garage. If you wanted to do either of those things, you’ve probably already built your own replica for a lot cheaper than the $50,000 price tag on these bad boys.

I’m a huge Van Halen fan, but even so, I can’t imagine spending that kind of dough. It’s a cool [replica] piece of history for sure, but $50,000? Damn!

They’re only making 300 of these, and it’s amazing they haven’t already sold out.
