Anthony Says Hagar Friendship Got Him Booted From Van Halen

File this one under, “duh.” I don’t know why the Van Halen brothers can be so fickle, but while they sat at home a decade ago, Michael Anthony was bored and wanted to make music. So he went on the road with former Van Halen frontman, Sammy Hagar for a little fun and music. It’s sad and unfortunate that the VH would ever hold this against Anthony or consider it a threat.

Oh well, at least it allowed Hagar and Anthony to team up recently to do the first Chickenfoot album.
