New South Carolina Laws to Protect Cyclists
// June 11th, 2008 // Cycling
It’s great to see more and more laws going into effect to protect cyclists out on the open road. First, there was New Hampshire’s new bike laws. Now our Southernly neighbor is protecting cyclists more. Hopefully some of that will rub off on North Carolina law makers, especially as more and more of us are on the road with gas prices over $4 and predicted to hit $5 by Independence Day.
The other part to this is making both drivers and law enforcement officers aware of the changes.
