Subaru and Toyota Announce Plans for Shared RWD Sports Car
// April 10th, 2008 // General Posts
My two favorite car companies – Toyota and Subaru are doing a true sports car together. It’s a RWD, which is fairly uncommon for Subaru, as most, if not all their cars are all-wheel drive. Neither company currently has a sports car in their lineup.
The closest for either company right now would be Subaru’s Impreza STi, though I think the past couple years, visually, it’s kind of been casterated. The original WRX and STi’s were a lot more aggressive in my humble opinion. Maybe this will be a test bed for Toyota to eventually reintroduce a version of the RWD Supra.
