WordPress 2.0 for iPhone Released

// November 7th, 2009 // Apple, iPhone

Recently, the 2.0 version of the WordPress application for the iPhone was released. Is it sad that it’s a bit of a thrill when new versions/updates for my iPhone apps appear?

Regardless, 2.0 is out, though for me, I had to go through the App store to download a new version. It did not show up as an update for the already installed 1.x app.

So honestly, I’m not seeing a ton of anything that sets it apart from the earlier version. Overall, it may be a little faster, but I’m not sure what merits making it more than a fractional release. I’m sure plenty is different under the hood, but from an end-user standpoint, I’m not seeing a whole lot. It’s completely functional, but it always has been. Anyone else getting a bunch more out of 2.0 than the 1.x releases?
